My MacBook stays at 0% battery life My MacBook stays at 0% battery life when it is plugged in, even though the light at the charger stays green. Oh! System report gives my Fully Charger :-). I'm almost sure it's not my battery and something is stucked on the SMC that is not being reseted. I tried the same combination without the charger connected and connect it afterwars. I tried to reset SMC with SHIFT-CTRL-OPTION-Power button for 10 seconds but when I do that, afterwards my computer never boots until I unplug the charger and plug it again (it boots automatically). I run diagnostics and some apps that gave me a "good" battery however not in 100% conditions (normal!). When I unplug the charger it disconnects the laptop immediately. I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch from 2016 with a 2,9 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 processor and 16 Gb RAM.Įverything was fine until a few days my battery went from 100% to 1% after I locked the screen (or was locked by the screensaver).
